UncategorizedBarn Living May 5, 2011I stumbled across this barn today on this great blog. I love old barns. They have such character and you know how I love anything rustic. But, this one is not necessarily as it appears. Here’s what you find when you walk in the front door: I love that weathered farmtable and benches. Check out the kitchen: That chandelier is hanging from a glass paned door – how cool is that? This place used to be an old horse barn and the inside was filled with stalls. At the end of their hallway, they kept one of the old stalls as a door: I love everything about this place. Chris has an aunt and uncle who have done something similar. They took an old Pennsylvania barn, moved it to the coast of Texas and turned it into a getaway! This would be a dream to me. One day, when we’re out of debt and have a little more freedom, how cool to buy an old barn or something with history and turn it into a cottage haven! Adding it to the bucket list…
