UncategorizedA Great Work Night September 26, 2012That sounds impossible to some of you, I know. And for me, it normally is too. “Great” and “Work Night” in the same sentence? No thanks… But nevertheless, it’s true. Tonight, I sat down at the big picnic table on our back porch. There’s a white heirloom pumpkin in the center that makes me way too happy. I lit a vanilla scented candle (my favorite), brewed a cup of hot tea with honey, and sat down to finish editing “Enchanted Autumn” photos to post and share with y’all. Pumpkins and candlelight really are two of my all-time favorite things. Maybe that’s why I love fall so much? Okay, enough pictures of the white pumpkin, I know. Little Gracie was lounging with her favorite bone beside me. There was a crispness in the air that made me cozy up in a sweater. All was perfect on this fall night. I was almost finished editing photos and was dying to get on to the posting part. The photos of this one turned out so much better than I expected and I’m dying to share them with you! But then, my poor little computer died. I went back inside to get the power cord and realized I left it at school from starting the editing process on these photos earlier. Needless to say, there are A LOT of photos to go through. Sad day. But, I decided that I didn’t want to leave my little fall perch outside. My cup of tea was only half gone, so naturally, I had to stay. So, I decided to blog about my lovely little work night 🙂 Sorry for the poor picture quality, by the way. The iPhone has a great camera…in the daylight. I can’t wait to share these photos with you first thing tomorrow when I’m back to my power cord and can get them off the computer. Don’t you love when things like that happen? Anyway, I’m off to finish my tea. Hope y’all are enjoying this fall evening as much as I am!
