UncategorizedOur Master Bedroom August 31, 2012It’s been pretty overcast around here and I wanted to wait for some good lighting to show off these pictures. Thankfully, I was able to get some good ones this morning and I’m so excited to share these with you. Today, I’m just going to share some new pretty photos. Next week, I’m going to tell you more about what we did. Remember, this isn’t a whole room overhaul, though it really feels like it to be in there! I just changed some pillows, added lamps and art, and rearranged the furniture. But it feels different. This is now my favorite room to be in at our house đ If you don’t remember, here it was before (you can read about this here): We started with the headboard and pillows, which I initially loved. Then other rooms took precedence and we just never finished this lonely, blank room. This room just felt dark and sort of drab to me. I know so much of that was because it just was never finished, but I wanted to totally change it’s look. Without further ado, here is our new room (insert excited squeal!): I was going to wait for the post talking about the decisions made with these two nightstands, but you know I’ve got to zoom in and show this picture of Gracie. This is on my side of the bed and it warms my heart every time I see it. She’s just a little tiny thing and I love remembering her like that. This nightstand is one of my very favorite things in the room: Here’s some up close shots of the bedding: And some up close of the paintings above our bed. They’re my favorite and inspired the whole room: Now some shots of the rest of the room… That’s my little dressing table you see there by the closet. It makes me happy too đ And the dresser and wedding wall: As you see, the dresser is what I still have to finish. I need to find a lamp for it, hang the picture that’s leaning above it, and do a little accessorizing, but I just couldn’t wait any longer to post this! Here’s the other side of the room: I just love it. Having it so pretty and welcoming makes me want to keep it clean all the time with the bed made. That’s awesome for me, but I KNOW my husband will love it. This room is the first to get cluttered and he doesn’t like that so much. Well, there you have it…our new master bedroom! Next week, I’ll have sources and some more details about how it all came together, but today, I just wanted to share some pretty. I hope y’all have a wonderful Labor Day Weekend!!! I am SOOO excited about ours…we have lots of family coming into town and I’ve been looking forward to this for a while now.
