UncategorizedDay 15: 31 Days of Finishing Rooms October 15, 2011Hey guys! Before I get to today’s update, I want to say a quick thank you. You guys have hung around with me for HALF of this series now! Thanks for all of the sweet comments and support. I really appreciate it and it keeps me going! Okay, now to some good stuff. Unfortunately, I didn’t find another rug for the entryway in Charlotte yesterday. So, that project will have to be put on hold until I figure out what I’m doing there. But, it was all okay because when I got home, I found that our living room looked like this… We finished the shelf on Thursday with its’ final coat of paint. But Chris put it up last night while I was on my girls’ trip to Charlotte. He’s a good man, I tell ya. It turned out so much better than I expected {of course, I will fill the empty pictures frames, but I couldn’t wait to show you guys!}. It’s pretty crazy to think that one from Pottery Barn this size would cost around $80. And don’t get me wrong, I love Pottery Barn and am sure they’re some pretty great shelves. But these cost us $20 and to me, they look pretty good! I love that we’re starting to fill up some of these empty walls. As always, thanks for hanging out here with me!
