Home DecorBoho Christmas Bar Cart with Wayfair November 30, 2016 As it is for many, Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year. The trees, the twinkle lights, the nip in the air…it’s all what my dreams are made of. This year, I was so thrilled to team up with Wayfair to share my take on a Boho Holiday Bar Cart. Y’all know I love boho, so combining these two loves has had me so excited. For me, “boho” means mixing color, texture, and pattern. I decided to set my bar cart up in my favorite spot of the house: the fireplace. This area shines during Christmas. When it came to decorating the bar cart, I pulled my favorite colors that were already present in this space. I love the berries, peaches, and greens. In my mind, decorating a bar cart should have several components. First of all, it’s a great place to store and display your favorite glasses and decanters. I fell in love with this crystal and gold glass and decanter set. The shape of them was so unique. The small Moroccan gold and green glasses played right to my boho-loving heart! I love using the top of a bar cart as a self-serve drink station. Here, these Moroccan glasses are anxiously awaiting this seasonal favorite: Winter Sangria. Sangria is one of my all-time favorite drinks and this version plays up the colors and flavors of the season. It’s perfect for any holiday gathering and really is the star of the show. And the best part is, it couldn’t be easier to put together! Red and green apples, cranberries, and a few sprigs of mint make this the most festive drink! Make sure you check out the full recipe on Wayfair’s Ideas & Advice blog. In addition to the practical things, I love using the bar cart for some holidays decorating. I brought in some small trees in different textures and laid a few ornaments around. I love the whimsical feel of bringing in some twinkle lights. I just wound them around the trees, glasses, and sangria and it creates the most magical glow! I love using trays or bowls to collect certain things. One of my favorite boho elements to use is rattan. That woven, rattan tray on top is the perfect layer to corral my new favorite glasses. On the base, I used a small marble tray to rest a colorful collection of ornaments on. For a full product list, the recipe for my Winter Sangria, and a few of my top Holiday Entertaining tips, make sure you check out the post on Wayfair’s Ideas & Advice blog! I had a blast working on this one and now I’m ready to finish decking the rest of our halls around here!
