Affordable Holiday Gift Guide: the Stylish Lady in your life

Have y’all ever done a love language test?  That was revealing for us to understand early in our marriage how we both receive and give love.  As I’m sure it is for most couples, ours are different.

Mine (as you may have guessed by the subject of this post) is gifts.  Now, this does not mean that for me to know my husband loves me, I need fancy and expensive gifts constantly.  Not at all!

But a really thoughtful gift, handmade or bought, expensive or cheap, means the world to me.  And I tend to show my affection for others through gift giving.  I love nothing more than searching for just the right gift for someone to show them I care.

Affordable Holiday Gift Guides for Everyone on Your List

There are many reasons that I am so in love with Christmas, but gift giving and planning is one that excites me!  I have a goal every year to be wrapped and done by December 1!  I rarely make it, but I get close and this year I’m determined.  I love having time to think ahead, find just the right thing, and then get it wrapped under the tree and just enjoy the season.

Join me in a little Christmas shopping, will you?

I’ve been on the hunt for unique, affordable, and fun Christmas gifts.  Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be sharing gift guides for everyone on your list.  My goal with these are to hopefully make your gift giving simple!  I’m searching out stylish and reasonably priced (seriously $5 and up) goods and curating a lovely little list to make your gift-giving a no-brainer.

Today, I’m sharing a Gift Guide for the Style-loving Lady in your Life.  These are all items I would LOVE to receive and I know many women, of any age, would too.

I love that teal jeweled necklace – but I don’t think the link is correct! I would love to find out where that is from!

My brother’s love language is gifts and he is always so thoughtful, like you! I love how you truly share your heart while sharing such amazing ideas!

I also love gift-giving. I am pretty good at finding the perfect gift for someone. I feel more blessed to give than receive. If I really want something, I will buy it myself. I am kind of picky, so I am not the best receiver. Last year , and I will do it this year, I looked online and got an advent calendar. Each day, it has something listed to do for others. I didn’t do it in chronological order, but I did complete all the suggestions. Send a letter to a friend that you haven’t contacted in a long time, give a gift card to a Salvation Army bell- ringer. Put 5$ in an envelope and put it under someone’s windshield wiper in a parking lot. ( I did this a number of times. I would find the oldest car, and write a note, saying, ” God bless you. Have a good day. Love, Santa.” Feed the birds, donate books, move a grocery cart to the proper place, just random acts of kindness. It was such an awesome experience. To brighten someone’s day, smile, be patient when waiting in line, just being kind to others- that is what I try to do and what Jesus calls us to do……God bless you, Sherri
