Home DecorUltimate Fall Decor Round-up September 25, 2019 It’s here, it’s here, it’s here, y’all! Fall is officially here. While the temperatures outside in South Carolina are still figuring that out, we’re diving head first into fall this week. This is our Apple Week after apple picking, so we’re baking up a storm, the house smells like cinnamon and orange (thank you baking and diffuser), and I’ve started spreading the pumpkin cheer around. Last night, I had so much fun going through falls past on the blog and decided to put together this Ultimate Fall Decor Round-up with my top ten favorite fall posts from the past. It was hard to narrow it down to ten, the fall posts are all my favorite. But here goes, friends! Hopefully this gives y’all a little inspiration as you’re planning your own fall home like it did for me. FRESH FALL TABLESCAPE This is a major throwback from right when I started blogging, but it may still be my favorite fall post ever. The green and white with that floral napkin still gets me. This tablescape was shot at my parents’ house back when my mom and sister and I had an Etsy shop selling our table linens and decor. That makes it all the more special to me. 2. RUSTIC & FLORAL TABLESCAPE Another throw-back tablescape from those days that’s still one of my favorite I’ve created! 3. FAVORITE FALL DIFFUSER RECIPES The first thing I do each year for fall is break out my fall diffuser combos! The house fills with cinnamon, nutmeg, orange, and woodsy scents and I love it. In this post, I shared all of my favorite combos like, “Apple Orchard,” “Pumpkin Spice,” and “Spiced Cider.” 4. BUFFALO BUNGALOW FALL HOME TOUR I love decorating my home for fall and sharing a tour with you guys! Last year, we were in the throws of our addition and while I decorated our house and shared some on Instagram, I never got around to officially sharing it on the blog! I missed it. This fall tour here is one of my all-time favorites. 5. OUR FALL FAMILY SHOOT This fall lifestyle shoot was taken the same year as the tour above and I love it! We’re going to make fall family lifestyle shoots a tradition – they are so fun to go back and look at us living in our home during my favorite season! And this one is extra special because I was newly pregnant with Dax and used this shoot to announce that! 6. BUFFALO BUNGALOW FALL TOUR 2015 This tour proves that you can make anything feel festive with a few fall touches. We had moved into our home two weeks before I shot this tour and NOTHING was finished! But decorating for fall made it feel like the welcome we’d been craving and working so hard on. 7. ANOTHER FAVORITE GREEN & BLUE FALL TABLE I apparently have a thing for green and blue (hint hint stay tuned for The Buffalo Burrow design plan), but I especially love green, blue, and golds in the fall. 8. DOWNTOWN COTTAGE FALL TOUR These throwbacks are SO FUN for me! Looking back over all the spaces we’ve poured so much love into over the years. This one was the first large-scale reno we did and seeing it all dressed for fall brings back such great memories. 9. DOWNTOWN COTTAGE KITCHEN FALL TOUR This was the first kitchen I ever designed and I still have such a major crush on it, especially that rug! Kitchens are always one of my favorite things to decorate with pumpkins and fall touches each year. 10. CANDLELIT FALL TABLE And one final fall table to finish us out! I’ve gotten a little out of the habit of dressing up tables lately with the constant renovating and now building, but seeing these makes me realize how much I miss it. Maybe that’s something we need to bring back! And now, I’m SO excited to dress this house up for fall and bring an official tour your way next week, friends. I’m already dreaming about how I’ll decorate our new house for many falls to come, but I’m determined not to let this last fall in our sweet stone cottage pass us by! Live in and embrace the present, right?
AmandaKB says September 25, 2019 at 5:08 pm Fall is by far my favorite season. We live in PA, so our temps are starting to dip a bit and the leaves are starting to do their thing. I’m pumped about it. I’m one of those weirdos who gets excited when it’s so cold I need a jacket. I hear ya on the greens and blues… I tend that way as well. I’m looking forward to following along with your choices for the new house 🙂 I love seeing those tablescapes again, so I’m not opposed to seeing those pop up more often. Reply
