UncategorizedThe Buffalo Bungalow Kitchen Week July 31, 2015Happy Friday, friends! I apologize for the radio silence over here this week. There has been a ton happening behind the scenes and I’m gearing up for a lot of exciting things coming up! First of all, you guys have been AWESOME. All of your feedback for the design dilemmas and options I’ve had has been so helpful. I love hearing other perspectives and you guys had many points I hadn’t considered! I wanted to drop in quickly today to let you know what’s coming up on the blog next week. I absolutely love designing kitchens. In our current home, the kitchen has definitely been our most popular project and it’s probably the room I’m most excited about in the new house. I think that kitchens are one of the hardest rooms to design. They are so complex with functionality being a HUGE factor. But I think the hardest part about them is really giving them a unique feel and statement on top of the functional piece. Designing this kitchen has been a rough road with many obstacles, but I’m finally making headway. And I am so excited to share all of the plans, design decisions, and things we’ve overcome on the blog next week. Next week will be packed with glorious kitchen planning. I’ve broken it down so that each day I’ll go step-by-step in our plan and you can really travel along through this process with us. So get excited, friends, and get your kitchen planning hats on. I’m pulling inspiration from all over the place, but just to tide you over until Monday, here’s one of my favorite inspiration images. This entire house is to die for! You can see a full tour here. Happy weekend, y’all! *** To follow our renovation journey every step of the way, make sure you subscribe to posts! They come straight to your inbox when posted. The dark cabinets, moodiness, and depth of that kitchen is appealing, So different from what everyone does. White and light gray is all you see. So if yours is anything like this, swoon! Your taste is the bomb, so I know it will be awesome. You were boho-chic with all the the cool textiles and rugs way before anyone else!! Love your blog and your style! Reply
