StyleThanksgiving Tablescape Inspiration November 6, 2013After my announcement on Monday, I’ve already been in Christmas planning mode. I love Thanksgiving, though, and am trying to hang on to that holiday before we move on to holly, Christmas carols, and twinkle lights. I am working on a Thanksgiving tablescape to share soon and loved some of the inspiration that I found. I love this tablescape from Tatertots and Jello. I love how she used black and white photographs of family members and words like “grateful” to remind us of why we celebrate the holiday. And I love the pumpkin and flower centerpieces. Bright, stylish, and cheerful! This Thanskgiving tablescape from Style Me Pretty really has an elegant, grown-up feel. The greenery in the centerpiece is gorgeous and throwing in the white pumpkins makes it “Thanksgiving” without being too fall. And y’all know I love mixing gold and silver, so the mixture of candlesticks makes me happy. And I love a good outdoor dinner party, so this one feels perfect and magical to me. I love the candles hanging from the tree overhead. Last year we created two different fall tablescapes. I loved both of them (Enchanted Autumn and Grateful Harvest), but Grateful Harvest really feels like Thanksgiving to me. We used wood chargers, vintage floral napkins, twig napkin rings, and piles of pumpkins. Piles of pumpkins make anything better, in my opinion. Well, I’m feeling inspired and ready hang on to Thanksgiving a little more before diving into Christmas.
