Home DecorStylish Entry Console Tables July 24, 2015I’ve been searching around for some console table ideas for the entry. That’s one of the biggest pieces in the room and I know I have several different directions I could go based off the design plan. I love a colorful entry table that makes a statement like this image from my friend Claire Brody, But I know that could compete with the colored wall Chris wanted in this room. {via} A natural wood option would be a good fit against the white board and batten and the colorful wall and art. {via} But I think my favorite option might be adding in a rustic, chippy piece that has some paint and a lot of exposed natural wood. {via} I love pairing modern touches like the abstract art I have planned for this room with rustic, weathered, chippy goodness like this table. I went to some of my favorite home decor sources to round up some favorite console table options in different finishes. Each would work with what I’m picturing for our entry and would just take the final design in a little different direction. I chose some wood options, some white, a pattern, and a little weathered paint in all different lines. 1. Reclaimed Wood Parsons Table | 2. Wood Mid-century Table | 3. Wood and White Patterned Parsons Table | 4. Rattan Console Table | 5. Chippy Secretary Table | 6. Iron and Wood Entry Table | 7. White Distressed Table | 8. Gold Metallic Console While these are all neutral, they’re show-stoppers all on their own. An entry doesn’t have a chance, but to be beautiful and welcoming with one of these tables. *** To follow our renovation journey every step of the way, make sure you subscribe to posts! Pamela says July 24, 2015 at 8:57 am Definitely #5 – it has the chippy rustic look and feel and also would had storage space below, since all the others are open and I hate seeing lamp cords below a table! Reply
Kristina Atkins says July 24, 2015 at 3:47 pm #2 and #3 are my favorites. Ohhhh those mid-century lines on #2 are making me swoon. But since you need such specific measurements, why not make something? Although I know Chris is plenty busy doing everything else, so that’s probably not an option. Reply
