Faith & FamilyOur Story in TOWN Carolina March 6, 2017I have big exciting news today! We were featured this month in a popular local magazine, TOWN Carolina. While we’ve been featured a few different places and we’re grateful for each opportunity, the feature in TOWN was a bit different and was so cool for us. Instead of focusing on our house, the befores and afters, and the renovations we’ve done, they wanted to tell our story…our family’s story behind the blog, in a way. That title and tagline says it all for me! I’ve always loved the quote, “She designed a life she loved.” While I fully believe God writes our story, I also think that walking through the opportunities, being open, and choosing to live as He’s called is our responsibility. The purpose behind all of this for us is huge and is something I’ve become really aware of in the last year, so I love how they captured that! I talked some about our story in my new year’s post this year: Simplicity and Abundance. I mentioned in that post as well that I’d be doing a series coming up on our family’s story. There is so much to share beyond just the renos we do that I’ve realized I’m supposed to share with you guys: our motivation, our WHY. This TOWN article gives you some background and a broad overview of our renovation and family adventure story and it serves as the perfect introduction to the video story series I’ll be sharing! Starting next Monday, I’ll be sharing a little video series each Monday that tells a piece of our story. While I’ve mentioned parts of our story in bits and pieces, 2016 was huge for us to reflect, see the power in the story God’s written for our family, and make some big exciting plans for 2017 that’re all in the works and you guys will get to be a part of! I’m so excited to dive a bit deeper with you guys and share our story starting next week! For a glimpse at what’s to come, you can check out our feature in this months TOWN! {These beautiful photos were taken by a talented Greenville and TOWN photographer, Rebecca Lehde for the article. The article was written by a local writer who I admire, Kathleen Nalley.} Thanks so much for sharing a piece of our story, friends at TOWN! We’re so honored. *** Thatโs been The White Buffalo motto for the last three years and is still what Iโm striving to do each day in our home and with our family. Yes, that often means tablescapes, inspiring interiors, and fun before and after renos. But it also means family. Faith. Joy. Struggles. Laughter. Health. You’ll find a little bit of all of that here as I share how we’re choosing to live with both style and purpose. A huge part of that is our journey toward a more natural life that’s focused on enjoying each and every moment together. A huge thanks to my main blog sponsor that makes this dream of mine possible:
