EntertainingRed, White, and Blue Style June 26, 2015With the Fourth of July just around the corner, I have red, white, and blue decor on the brain! I wanted to round up some of my favorite patriotic posts that I’ve done. This year, eHow asked me to create a red, white, and blue place setting in honor of the coming holiday. I focused on creating a simple tablescape that is stylish and is durable for those family cookouts. You can see a step-by-step tutorial for creating this look here. Last year, I had the best time creating this backyard picnic and tablescape. You can see the full post on it here. I still love the boho vibe this has. I must have a thing for patriotic backyard bashes! Two years ago, I created this fresh take on red, white, and blue with my mom and sister for Memorial Day. That one feels like forever ago, but I still love that red gingham with blue floral napkins. For the centerpiece, we went super simple with just a mix of eclectic neutral vases and put one cut hydrangea bloom in each. See the full post here. The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays. We have a tradition of all meeting at my parents’ lake cabin and spending the week there. Our neighbors do the most amazing fireworks display ever. It’s always a blast and these red, white, and blue projects get me so excited! Do you guys have any fun patriotic traditions for the 4th? I’d love to hear!
