UncategorizedMaster Bath Inspiration May 22, 2013We wanted to go for something very different than our last Master Bath. So excited about this one and here’s what we’re thinking. 1 – White vanity top with a rustic wood base. Think factory table style. 2 – Kilim rug goodness. 3 – Slate floor with large tiles. 4 – White subway tile with dark gray grout for the standing shower. 5 – Brass and glass light something like these. 6 – Ocean inspired paintings from Tastes Orangey. These ideas may shift slightly in how they end up, but I’m pretty sold on these things. I still cannot decide on the mirrors. We’re doing a double vanity, so I want two mirrors versus one large one. I love this bathroom reno with two different mirrors. {via} It’s so different, but not sure my husband is sold on it. What do y’all think? Two different mirrors or two the same? Any idea for finishes that would look good with the other elements above?
Rosemary says May 22, 2013 at 1:50 pm I love the two different mirrors! My husband would never go for it. He thinks everything needs to match and there is where our styles start to differ. We have been able to make some compromises so maybe if you find the perfect two mirrors for you guys your husband won’t mind. Reply
jillian says May 22, 2013 at 2:12 pm LOVE. That vanity is incredible, and I adore how you’ve combined multiple styles. And the print couldn’t be a more perfect combo of all of the elements. Can’t wait to see it come together! Reply

Kristina says May 23, 2013 at 3:47 pm I say go for different ones! The beautiful thing about mirrors is you can always change them up when you get sick of the look and/or sell (whichever comes first!). AND, you can always find great mirrors second-hand. Reply
kate says May 28, 2013 at 1:51 pm This may sound silly, but I NEVER thought of doing two different mirrors…I’m officially sold! Love the look, especially with the mash of styles going on with the other elements. So awesome! Can’t wait for the “after” photos! Reply
