UncategorizedI'm finally back… June 13, 2011Well, I am finally home from my school residency and am starting to get rested up. It as a great week and a half with a lot of friends and I came back very inspired to work on my novel. But, I must admit, ten days of 12-hour days of class is tiring. Chris and I spent the weekend relaxing, enjoying some quality time catching up, and starting some house projects. We’ve been excited for our schedule to slow down this summer so that we can get some things done in the house. We finally got to the wedding gallery wall for our master bedroom. It is so nice to be getting some things up on our newly painted walls. Here is the arrangement we started with: I painted all of the light wood frames white and as soon as those are dry tomorrow, I will have pictures of the finished wall! I’m still trying to decide on the dark wood frames (they kind of look black in this picture, but they’re actually a dark brown wood). Chris likes the dark rustic wood and I normally do too. I’m just having trouble picturing that mixed with white in our bedroom. They may get painted white too, depending on how it all looks on the wall. I may need some opinions!
Sara Caulder says June 15, 2011 at 10:27 am Are your walls colored? I may say go all white, I love that look. Funny you posted this because we are in the process of doing a wall collage as well. Our walls are already white so we settled on keeping all the frames their original look for now to add some color to our place. Isn’t hanging a wall collage so fun?!?! I love doing things asymmetrical. Can’t wait to see yours finished! Reply
