UncategorizedFall Mantle September 27, 2011As I told y’all last week, there is just something about fall that gets my blood pumpking. The cooler weather that just makes you want to cozy up with loved ones, the gorgeous colors, and you know it….the pumpkins. With my favorite season finally here, I had to spend a little time over the weekend on decorating our house. The fireplace is the most prominent part of our living room, so I really wanted to start there and make it a focal point. I started off with this old, weathered window that I’ve used a lot in the past. Then, I layered on a burlap wreath and tons of multi-colored pumpkins. I love vintage floral paintings and a little metallic, so I added just a little of that. Then, for some dimension, I added the two dark stained frames. And for a little texture, I added the branches in the white pitcher. It makes me happy whenever I walk by! I’m headed over to The Lettered Cottage for her Fall Link Up Party. Come on over! Happy Fall Y’all!
