UncategorizedDay 28: 31 Days of Finishing Rooms October 28, 2011Wow, y’all…I’m blown away by all of the great suggestions about where to find that rug! I have a long list of places to now check out – AWESOME! Today, I wanted to talk a little bit about wall art. The walls in this guest room are completely blank and I want something to spice it up a bit. Since this will most likely serve as my office/writing place, I thought something inspirational would work well. I remembered seeing this guest room post from The Lettered Cottage (love everything they do!). They love words and inspiration like I do, so I LOVED this wall art idea. They just printed out quotes that inspired them, put them in old frames they had around the house, and hung them up! I love the mix of frames. This room just looks so good. It reminds me slightly of what I’m working toward in this guest room (I can only hope mine looks like this). White walls, ticking stripe bedding, flowy curtains, and best of all, some wall inspiration! I think this is a great project for this weekend. Sorry for so many, y’all, but I really can’t narrow it down. Each of this inspires me and is something I need to hear! Maybe I’ll just have to spread them all around our house… Do you guys think you can help me narrow it down? What are your favorites?

Kristina says October 29, 2011 at 11:58 am Well, I’ve ALWAYS loved that quote from Gordon B. Hinckley. I love the Romans quote too–that’s one of my favorite books of scripture. Also, 11, 7, 8, 1, and 2 are other favorites. 🙂 Reply
