UncategorizedSensing a Pattern January 19, 2012I’m starting to notice something about myself. It hit me today that many of the home photos that I’ve been inspired by lately all have one thing in common. Can you guys figure it out? I’ll give you a hint…it has nothing to do with the decor {though each of these is beautiful and has inspired me for many other reasons}… Okay, I’m sure you got it…it’s the DOGS!!!! Each of these photos has a dog in it {along with most of the other photos I’ve been drawn to lately}. I’m sensing a pattern. I saw this photo today… …and seriously, my first reaction was “That kitchen is GORGEOUS and there’s a dog bed, which must means they have a dog.” I. have. a. problem. I think it’s safe to say I have puppies on the brain…I have for quite a while, but I think it’s getting to me. They’re so cute, obviously, but they just seem to bring life to a house. I know it brings a lot of other things, some maybe unpleasant, but to me, it’s worth the negatives. For a long time, I have wanted a Great Dane. I love the idea of a big, protective dog that is also gentle and loving. And just look at them… But they’re huge and do cost a lot to feed. So, we’ve deemed them our one day dog (please, Chris?) when our kids want a puppy. For now, we’re thinking of something a bit more manageable…and something that doesn’t shed. I’m not sure how I will do with shedding in the house yet. Now, we’re thinking goldendoodles. He is seriously the cutest thing ever. He will grow up to look something like this… Could my taste in dogs be any more opposite? {all images via my Pinterest}
Sara Davis says January 19, 2012 at 6:09 pm Dogs are the best!!! You should totally go for the goldendoodle! That’s our pick too! Great family dogs and the non shedding aspect is what sells me on them for sure. Not sure how it is in your town, but we had to get on a waiting list back in November in order to get one sometime this year so hop on it! Can’t wait to “meet” your new pup! Reply
