KidsRosie’s Spring & Summer Capsule Wardrobe March 15, 2017 While having a little girl is so much more than clothes, I sure do have fun dressing our little Rosie! This little one has gotten very into getting dressed. She asks for shoes, hairbows, a dress, and even a bracelet very often. It cracks me up and is so much fun, but a part of me worries what we’re in for down the road, haha! Regardless, it’s a blast! But dressing your kids is expensive. I’m not even talking about buying expensive clothes! We’re bargain shoppers over here, through and through. But even buying clothes at Target or on clearance each season when they grow so fast adds up. In the fall, I took on the idea of a capsule wardrobe for Rosie. I picked out a wardrobe ahead of time instead of just buying pieces as I found them – that’s when it’ll really start to add up, I think, because I always buy more when there isn’t a plan. Once I had her little wardrobe picked out and as streamlined as possible, I watched for deals on those things and was able to save a ton! I decided to tackle the same thing for her spring and summer wardrobe since it went so well for us and wanted to share with y’all! I love mixing colors and patterns, as y’all know, which is perfect for the bright and cheerful things spring brings! This one here is pretty streamlined for as hard as Rosie plays now. I don’t want to be doing laundry every few days, but I think we can make it work. Worst case, I’ll add another tank top/pair of shorts, etc. as we need it. But I’m going to give this a go! My absolute favorite source for Rosie’s clothes is Target’s Cat & Jack line. It could not be cuter, but y’all, that stuff is cheap! The pieces above, for example, are regular priced $5, $6, etc. (dresses and shoes are a little more, but still super reasonable), so I can really get what she needs for as little as possible. And I sure love the style! CLICK BELOW FOR LINKS: [show_shopthepost_widget id=”2516207″] I got her one nicer/more special dress that she’ll wear for Easter and then three play dresses. She loves wearing dresses and play dresses are perfect for summer to me. Then four shirts, two tank tops, two short-sleeved to mix with the three pairs of shorts and four pairs of pants. I’m obsessed with that little active outfit. Doesn’t that just kill y’all? Can’t wait to dress my little cutie in these this spring! Do y’all do capsule wardrobes or something similar for your littles? I’d love to hear your advice on how you plan and save, especially with us adding another child to buy a whole new wardrobe for each season because they’ve outgrown everything they own!
