UncategorizedOur Living Room January 26, 2012As promised, here’s some updated photos of our living room. Remember from my October “Finishing Rooms” series, we built this shelf, but hadn’t filled it with pictures yet? Well, we finally got that checked off our list. Here’s what it looked like before: Well, we finally took care of it. Here’s what it looks like now: It is so nice to have stuff on our walls, especially some special photographs that Chris took. Both of these photos are downtown where we love to spend a lot of time. The one of the tree roots is right by a swing in the park where we love to sit and chat. We first talked about wanting to marry each other there. The other picture is of a bridge in the center of downtown and an old mill. We have always thought that mill was beautiful. We almost got married there, but it didn’t hold quite enough people 🙁 So, these photos are meaningful and nice to look up and see them on our wall. Here’s how the rest of the room is looking… Chris gave me this barn door for our 1-year anniversary. It’s from a one hundred year old barn in South Carolina. I love the pillows in this room. They took forever to decide on, but they were worth the wait. And my favorite… I really love spending time in here now. It makes me happy 🙂
