UncategorizedOur Dining Room January 25, 2012I decided what to do with that big empty mirror wall. I loved the idea of a wall of mirrors, but I had all of these white plates lying in storage for a white plate wall. So, after Megan’s inspiration picture of a mirror mixed with plates, I decided to go that route. So far, I’m liking it. I’m going to fill in with more white plates, but this is a start. Here’s some more photos of how our dining room is looking these days… My great grandmother, Lissie, gave me this cabinet when I was a little girl to store my dolls in. I love that it now sits in our “grown up” house. I’m considering painting it one day, but don’t know when or what color. My vintage floral paintings made it onto the shelves. I’m really liking where this room is headed…it feels a long time coming! Here’s the view from our kitchen door. You can get a feel for the layout of the dining and living room better here. Tomorrow I’ll have an update in the living room and some new and better pictures. See y’all then!

Kristina says January 30, 2012 at 10:30 am I love it! It looks really, really good. I like the contrast of the white plates with the darker mirror. And the smooth (plates) with the weathered (mirror). Reply
