UncategorizedNeutral & Natural Fall Home Tour Inspiration September 12, 2014Yesterday, I shared the 8 Fall Must-haves that I used in last year’s tour and will be incorporating again. But I also said this year’s would feel really different. Last year, I used a ton of color layered into my decor. You can see the full tour here, but this photo gives you an idea. While my home is neutral with all white walls and lots of dark woods, I brought in quite a bit of color in accessories and details. This year, I’m just feeling the need for something different. While last year, I was feeling color, this year I’m feeling fresh, natural, rustic, and calm. Here are some items that I am super inspired by to give you an idea of where I’m headed with this year’s tour. Turn on your JavaScript to view content Yes, I know. Very, very neutral. But there are still some familiar items for me there. Kilim, metallic, and texture…just in lovely, neutral hues. I won’t be redecorating the entire house and getting rid of all color. The colorful rugs will stay to an extent. The island will still be green. But, I won’t be layering a ton of color on top of that. I’ll be bringing in neutral texture to cozy up our house this year. I’ll still use some color, but it will mainly be through natural elements like these gorgeous pumpkins. This is why I love a neutral white and wood base. You can change up the accessories and the home feel totally different. Stay tuned for this year’s Neutral & Natural Fall Tour! It’s going to be different and I can’t wait!
