UncategorizedMohawk Indie Pattern Rug and a Giveaway! February 10, 2014This is a sponsored post by Mohawk Flooring. As always, the opinions shared here are 100% mine. Today, I’ll be talking about the journey to my new living room rug and there’s something in it for you too! I recently began looking for a new living room rug. I loved my painted kilim layered over jute and I’ll be talking about why I wanted a change tomorrow. But I was so excited when Mohawk approached me to review a rug. I searched around and immediately fell in love with the Indie Pattern Rug. I mean, the name alone screams me, right? But it reminded me so much of an over-dyed kilim style. I love the varying shades of teal and green. When I got it in person, I loved it even more! This may sound cheesy, but I love the depth that it has. There are so many varying shades of teals and greens that really remind me of that over-dyed feel that I love so much. Plus, I love how it compliments the pieces I already have in the room. It looks great with my favorite: the rag rug slipcovered ottoman. And it even goes with Ms. Gracie’s favorite, the mid-century green chair! While I adore the color and look of this new rug, my very favorite part is the feel and durability. Coming from a jute rug that was really rough on our feet, this rug is so plush and soft. We rolled it out and Gracie immediately curled up on it. If it passes the Gracie softness test, we’ve got a winner! But the best part is that it is Wear-Dated Nylon and is made with Scotch Advanced Repel Technology. Y’all, in case you forgot, we live with a Great Dane. And she’s precious. And obedient. And loving. And cute. But she can track in some dirt, I tell ya! So, this was a huge selling feature for me. Okay, y’all, now the best part is that Mohawk is giving away an area rug 5×8 valued at $150 or less! You can see all of the great choices on their website: http://www.mohawkhome.com/. Good luck! a Rafflecopter giveaway
