Home Decor, StyleLayering on Fall Style September 19, 2015My favorite thing for any space, but especially a fun space like this front porch, is to have a fairly neutral base so that I can change out the accessories and layers each season for a whole different look. I had the best time layering this area for fall! When I stumbled upon this kimono a few weeks ago, I fell in love with this color scheme for fall. I think berry is my new favorite color! Plus, the boho vibe and fringe made me love it anymore. I decided to shape my fall front porch with AE Outdoor after it. I was looking to bring those colors in throughout the space and create a layered bohemian vibe that was perfect for fall and wasn’t lacking in personality. I found this Kantha blanket at World Market and loved the berry-colored base! I knew it would add the perfect colorful punch to the love seat. Then, I found the berry colored pillow above at Target. It’s sold out on line, but I got it on clearance at our store! And my cowhide pillow from the old house softens this colorful palette and grounds it with a little rustic. I pulled blue from the Kantha blanket as a contrasting color to all of the berry and gold. It really comes off as a neutral here and I love that. The coffee table was in Rosie’s nursery at the old house. I love this Moroccan folding table! I got it on The World’s Longest Yardsale last year for a great price. If you search “Moroccan folding table” online, some do come up that are very similar, but they’re a bit more pricey! It’s really easy to move around, which is perfect for this small space to function and be versatile. I’m not sure if it’s going to work in her room or not, so for now, it’s centering our little porch sitting area! I do love it out here. I’ve had these modern white armchairs awhile too and I love them! The material works great on a covered porch and I like how the modern white lines balance the love seat. For fall, layers and textures like sheepskin and velvet pillows are the perfect finishes. A basket of throws always brings in a fall vibe. Plus it’s practical for those cool nights! This Artisan basket is from our local World Market store, but it isn’t online sadly. It’s a great design with the colorful sides and leather handle. My final layer out here, as it is anywhere during fall, is pumpkins. I love them. I love all shapes and colors. I especially love how these shades of green pumpkins pair well with my berry palette! I’ve searched everywhere in Greenville over the last few years for the best pumpkins and a local farmer’s market always has them the earliest, has the best selection, and has low prices. Each year they remember me. Does no one else buy two grocery carts worth of pumpkins ? SHOP MY FRONT PORCH Turn on your JavaScript to view content Affiliate links used.
