Home DecorExciting Office/Playroom Features! July 22, 2016 There’s just something special about this room. I think it’s partly because it was designed for me and my baby girl to share. But I also think it had a lot to do with timing. This was the first space I really designed and revealed after the bulk of my health struggles when I finally felt creative and like myself again. I really went crazy with this space on color and pattern. I pushed my limits. I told myself not to second-guess and just go with it. And it taught me a lot about my style and what I love. I still remember after finishing it, I only wanted to be in here and I thought, “the rest of the house has to get some of this vibe!” I’m working on that now, but I’m so honored that this room has gotten so much attention. You guys all loved it and this week, it was featured on two sites that I’ve loved for so long! I’m so honored reading these articles to see their take on it! Each of them shared some background info on our flipping journey and even how I tackle the work/mama balance around here. You can see each post by clicking the names below: I’ve loved Design Sponge since before I started blogging and often go there for inspiration, so my first feature over there is a big milestone for me! Some of you may remember that when I first came home from teaching to blog full-time, I worked for Project Nursery, up until I had Rosie. They have the most amazing team and I felt so at home there. They are the go-to source for all things little ones, so make sure you check out their site if you’re in the market for some amazing kiddo inspiration. A huge thanks to both of them for these amazing features and to Wayfair for making this room and these partnerships happen!
