EntertainingEnchanted Autumn September 27, 2012I am so excited to share this party/table-scape with y’all! The vintage floral fabric that we made napkins out of was the first thing that we found for our business. I loved its unique colors so much. Here’s an up-close shot of the fabric: I loved the grayish/black background with the gold, cream, and green tones of the roses. We pictured rustic wood, green heirloom pumpkins, and gold when we saw this. And that’s exactly what we did for this collection we’re calling “Enchanted Autumn.” Prepare yourselves, this is going to be a picture heavy post 🙂 Here’s a view of the whole table: This time, we chose to show our reversible linen and black ticking stripe runner with these napkins. As you can see, we are using the ticking stripe side here. Our wood round chargers came back in this one. Ooh, I love those. I really love how the green heirloom, white, and gold pumpkins look with the table settings. Instead of the big wood rounds to serve as candle platters, we are showing our wood round pillars here. We have three sizes that will be available. I love them interspersed down the table with the colored pumpkins. Such a simple, yet beautiful centerpiece. We have small wood round stumps as place card holders. These are so tiny and cute! The placecards have a gold stamped leaf on them with the name written over it in black. And in the wingbacks, we used our ticking stripe gold leaf pillows. The gold leaf is handpainted onto the pillow cover. I really love how the tablescape turned out. We did a small serving table underneath the tree beside this table. There are a few other items from our wood round shop on this table. We have a lot of different serving pieces in the wood round shop, like this three-tiered stand. We were initially going to do a more traditional stand with three different size platforms stacked one on top of the other, but at the last minute, my mom and dad had the idea for this. That’s why I love them…they are so darn creative (of course there might be a few other reasons). I LOVED this idea. It’s very different and artistic, which I always love. We will probably add a traditional one at some point, but wanted this to be more of our signature stand. We also have a five inch thick serving piece, which gets me so excited. I love big pieces of pretty wood. We also used a thinner serving piece. We will have these in three different sizes. Here’s the view of the whole serving table. You’ll notice another of our vintage inspired signs on the table. This one we did a bit simpler with less words. Most vintage signs actually had very little on them. But of course, this one is very worn looking. That was the goal! I love the worn off layered look. Well, there you have it folks. That’s “Enchanted Autumn.”

I have wanted wood pieces and have even thought about using a chainsaw myself, but I’ve been told that it would be best if I didn’t. Ha! Great job on this!! Xoxo Reply
