I’m so happy to kick off my favorite season with some serious fall inspiration. It is officially fall and in celebration, we’ve got 41 homes decked out for fall! {links to the entire tour at the bottom of the post}.
In the fall, I love to drive through neighborhoods and see the front doors surrounded with mums and pumpkins.
To me, nothing is prettier than simple mums and pumpkins gathered.
I wanted a fresh spin on a fall wreath and went with a simple Dream Catcher inspired version.
Pheasant feathers and fringe gives fall a boho touch at our house. I love that you step right in our front door to The Lounge and a view of the mantel.
As I posted about recently, I was craving a simplified fall this year. I wanted more neutrals and room to let my decor breathe. The big antlers and sign came from The World’s Longest Yardsale and the vintage painting came from a thrift store.
For some texture, I made some DIY Yarn Garlands to stretch across the antlers and drape along the mantel.
It’s subtle, but I love what they add!

To really let the mantel shine, I left the sitting area very neutral. My Eames-style chairs got layered with a sheepskin and a white pillow with gold and silver metallic flecks. The weathered milk can brings a little history with the white and modern pieces.
I re-styled the barn wood desk that Chris made right inside the front door as an entry rather than a desk since I have my office now. I had the best time setting it up for fall.
Green heirloom pumpkins are my favorite and they pick up the green tones in the lampshades beautifully. And they look great against the wood desk, I think.
I recently found the vintage painting at a thrift store for $10! I love the color scheme in this little area.
Spools of yarn make great fall decor! I had them left over from the Yarn Garlands and thought they looked so pretty in their little spools. The wooden bowl corrals them and gives them an overall statement.
Even the mudroom got some fall sprucing.
I was growing a little tired of the purple kilim bench and wanted some different colors for the fall tour. I folded and laid this old family quilt over it and it immediately feels re-covered for free and in a matter of minutes.
The little mudroom shelf is just perfect for a little seasonal spirit.
If you missed last week’s first peek at my fall tour, here’s a little recap.
Our living room got a new rug, new pillows, and I am loving it!
The kitchen island has such a great surface for working and decorating. I love having room for both!
And the dining room got a whole new facelift in some rustic neutrals and rich fall colors.
For detail shots and more details of these last few rooms, make sure to visit last week’s fall tour!
Thank you so much for stopping by, friends! I hope you’ve gotten some cozy fall inspiration here, but keep hopping on! 39 more to go!

OMG I love everything! Your front porch looks amazing and I love your new(?) lamps and the lampshades are perfect. So lovely and simple! Definitely what I’m in the mood for too!
Thanks! I’m actually sharing more of our exterior reveal and details on those re-vamped lamps this week!
Your new living room rug is so gorgeous and gives everything such a new feel.
Everything is so pretty!
Thanks Julia! I’m loving the brighter, fun feel π
You have such a fun style Lindsay, I would love to see your adorable house in person! We should meet for lunch! Great line up for the week. ~Sonya
Thanks, Sonya! You should come over! I forget how close we are π
Oohh! Me, too! π Love how this perfectly reflects YOUR style…so comfortable yet so refreshing and beautiful.
I am craving lighter and simple for fall too (coming from a self professed hoarder, it’s difficult)! Love your fall home – the recovered mudroom bench is gorgeous – and can I borrow those boots?
Thanks so much Kelly! Those boots are from Target!!! So cute and cheap and look way more high-end than they are. You should get them! And thanks for your sweet words about my tour!
Always LOVE your style, but this is my favorite looks in your rooms this fall! So comfy, cozy ….pregnancy nesting is a great thing! π ~ Kim
Thank you, Kim! Our house is my favorite right now that it’s ever been π But so good to hear that from someone else!
I love EVERYTHING you do. the end.
Myquillyn, I can’t tell you what a compliment that is coming from you my talented friend!
I just love your simple, natural fall look, especially the styling of your barn wood desk in the entry – gorgeous!
Thanks Kris! That little area is one of my very favorites!!
I’ve been meaning to ask forever: where is that gorgeous lantern from?! π
Hi Kelly! It’s actually an outdoor lantern we found on clearance at TJMaxx! Then, we used a pendant kit to turn it into an actual light fixture! It was super easy, cheap, and I LOVE the result π
Beautiful and so unmistakable YOU, Lindsay!! I just love your lounge…so chic, and really loving your cute mudroom too!
Thanks, Jennifer!
Linds- Every detail is so beautiful! You have such a knack for making natural, understated vignettes look so welcoming and festive at the same time. Amazing π
Thank you, Mallory! I usually tend toward tons of accessories and go overboard (or atleast close to it), but this year I really was craving a simpler fall in our home.
So simple and lovely. Well, done, friend! Happy Fall! xox, Emily
and, apparently, i, like, commas, too, much, π
Thanks so much, Emily! I wanted simple this year π
Always gorgeous and so original. I love it all.
Thank you so much, Marty! That is such a compliment π I often feel like there are no original ideas left out there, so that means a lot to heat that!
Just adore it Lindsay! Antlers and pumpkins and your own unique style make this totally cozy! xoxo
Thanks so much, Kristin!!! I do love me some antlers and pumpkins π
pinned that wreath for later…I need some of that fringe!
Gorgeous!!! You are so talented!! Thanks so much for hosting and Happy Fall! Xo, B&C
Beautiful Lindsay! Love how cohesive everything looks and all the beautiful natural elements. So excited to see all the homes on tour this week! π
Love it all, but your mudroom is my FAVE!!! Thanks for putting this together Lindsay!
Can you share where your bag is from? [hanging in the mudroom]
Absolutely, Emilee! It’s from Old Navy. I got it on clearance a couple of years ago, so I know it wouldn’t be available, but I know there are tons of bags like that out right now! That kind of print is so huge! Etsy has a great selection and so does Target!
I love this so much!! I especially adore your eclectic taste =) Wish we lived near each other so that we could shop together!
LOVE it! the mantle is my favorite but i love it all- i totally dig your style! π
I love how you took the most simple inexpensive items and turned them into works of art. The neutral pallet looks fantastic!
That dream catcher-esque wreath is beautiful – such an awesome and unique idea! I love your yarn garlands too – so fun!
Gorgeous as usual Lindsay! Love the rug in your living room and the yarn garland is so cute!

Only you make me wanna bring out my inner hippie ~ love.it.all! xo
hahahaha, thanks Michelle! That’s a huge compliment for me π
I love the wood desk area with the light lamps and darker shades. Exactly what I wanted to try for fall in my hearthroom. Also love the cotton detail! π I also love the ottoman cover! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Autumn! The lampshades are my favorite!
I love your house! It’s so lovely and inspiring I’m so glad I stumbled upon your blog π (.. I forget how I did at this point, maybe a link party?) Anyways— I love your eclectic look. I have similar furnishings and slowing adding the wall decor/finishing up the kitchen remodel that flows between our two sitting rooms & dining room. I’m excited to have your pics as a reference! Looking forward to following you girl.
I love your style, everything just works so well together. I’ve been seeing a lot of those green pumpkins in your blog tour but have never seen them in person!
